PEERS® helps participants build the real-world social skills they need to create meaningful relationships and navigate everyday interactions with confidence.
The PEERS® Social Skills Program is an evidence-based program that helps teens and young adults build the skills and confidence needed to make and maintain meaningful friendships.
Potential program activities include:
Learning how to start a conversation, and keep it going.
Learning to use appropriate humor and technology.
Learning how to handle conflict and navigate social situations.
Finding and keeping friends.
Interactive lessons, role-playing, and real-life practice to support learning goals.
Support from a PEERS-trained Employment Specialist.
