PEERS® helps participants build the real-world social skills they need to create meaningful relationships and navigate everyday interactions with confidence.

The PEERS® Social Skills Program is an evidence-based program that helps teens and young adults build the skills and confidence needed to make and maintain meaningful friendships.

Potential program activities include:

  • Learning how to start a conversation, and keep it going.

  • Learning to use appropriate humor and technology.

  • Learning how to handle conflict and navigate social situations.

  • Finding and keeping friends.

  • Interactive lessons, role-playing, and real-life practice to support learning goals.

  • Support from a PEERS-trained Employment Specialist.
