At MY PATH, we want to do everything we possibly can to set our clients up for success when starting a new job. We believe that things can be done prior to starting a job which will increase the likelihood of the job being a good fit for both the employee and the employer. As we create the “MY PATH Action Plan,” a specific job or career field may be identified as aligning with the client’s strengths and abilities. Once this has been determined, we can start doing things to prepare the client for success. Part of this process will be your MY PATH coach going to a place of business within the career field and learning more about the day-to-day tasks of employees within this field. This could also entail your coach talking with a prospective manager about what they are looking for and what they value in their employees. This process is unique to every client and every job possibility, but will always be an integral part of the “MY PATH Action Plan.” Below, you will find some examples as to how this could play out for you.
